Well, u now can guess my mood for the rest of the week....without England in Euro 2008, it sure was much better watching....Holland, Portugal, Italy, France were all knocked out before the semis and only Germany stands in the way for a 44 year wait for a trophy...Spain was the team i was supporting without England and Gerrard....with Torres, Casillas, Villa, Sergio Ramos and Fabregas all playing in the same team...it's hard to bet against them winning....at least, they didn't let me down as England would always do...getting into the final was a tough route, facing Italy and Russia...had we faced the Netherlands, it could be a total different story....but it was a much better Euro than the previous one....Greece were long gone, Turkey and Croatia were the surprise package, France was crap, Holland was just unlucky but Spain have proven they were the underachievers no more....
